Softshell repels wind and light rain and suits the field. A fleece bodywarmer is soft, breathable and best for indoors and cooler mornings. A padded quilted bodywarmer has a synthetic fill and is the warmest, which makes it the choice for winter corporate events. We pick the model based on where and when the team will wear it.
On softshell, fleece and quilted bodywarmers, embroidery is the most durable, looks representative and survives washing for the lifetime of the garment. For dark softshells with a colourful or detailed design, DTF transfer print works well. For lightweight down and mesh hi-vis bodywarmers we choose transfer or screen printing, because the thin fabric does not carry embroidery as well.
Fleece bodywarmers usually sit around 280-300 g/m2, softshells tend to be slightly heavier due to their multi-layer build, and padded quilted bodywarmers add a thin synthetic fill. Down and ultra-light models are the thinnest and pack down small. We include the exact weight for each model in the quote.
We commonly supply bodywarmers in both womens and mens cuts, in sizes roughly from XS to 3XL depending on the model. The sleeveless cut forgives differences in body shape more than a blazer, so one model fits the whole crew. You can request a sample before ordering to try the cut and size.
Softshell and fleece are usually washed at 30 °C inside out, without fabric softener and without a tumble dryer, to keep their breathability and colour. Padded and down bodywarmers have their own instructions depending on the fill. Embroidery and a quality transfer handle this kind of wash without trouble; the exact care symbols are always on the sewn-in label of each model.
